DEAR COLLEAGUES,

Welcome to the website of the "II Competition Forum of Ukraine" that was be held in Kiev on 26-27 January 2012.

In the current global economic situation, the core issues are the specific contents and forms of competition policy implementation. This and other topics, which are important for Ukraine and international community, will be extensively covered and discussed at the Forum.

The Forum also aims to become a platform to share an experience of shaping the principles and methods for stimulation of a fair competition.

Strengthening the role of competition policy as a regulatory tool for economic relations on national and international levels, is a way towards enhancing global economic efficiency, promoting development of a cross-border commerce, improving people’s welfare as well as encouraging the growth of a new technologies.

Our country has demonstrated a consistent approach to market reforms. A clear programme for economic reforms was proposed by the President of Ukraine - Viktor Yanukovych, and has been further supported by Ukrainian business and the whole society.

We would like to kindly thank all delegates that participated in the "II Competition Forum of Ukraine". We firmly believe in a possibility of competiton laws improvement to higher and more sophisticated levels.
